Spanish Bit on Countryfile! 15th Jan BBC1

Hayley, Jill and Adam Henson outside H20 farm

Keep a look out for Z ripping fodder out of BBC Countryfile's very own Adam Henson on Sunday 15th! As some of you may have seen, Countryfile visited us a few weeks ago to film the horses eating the H20 Farm hydroponic barley grass that is grown on site. Adam can be seen feeding the horses and discussing the barley grass with Howard Campion (director of H20 farm) before taking some of the grass back to his own farm.

Countryfile will air on January 15th at approximately 7pm on BBC One.

We'll miss you Tallow!

Tallow

For most when they've entered the yard the first friendly face they will have seen for as long as they can remember will have been Tallow. Peeping his head out to greet everyone as they arrive, Tallow has been a firm favourite for the past 19 years!

It is with great sadness from everyone at the Bit that we inform you that Tallow passed away this morning (8th November) due to a sudden and aggresive tumour. Fortunately he died without pain and definitely didn't lose his appetite in his last few days!

Tallow has been with us since 1992 and will be greatly missed by everyone who has met him. RIP Tallow.

New technologies- H20 Farm

The latest development at the Riding School has been the introduction of the use of hydroponically- grown Barley Grass as part of the Horses' feed. The early results of using this new fodder have been very positive and the new healthy, shiny coats of our horses seem to be down to this new diet. Check out the company for more information at www.h2ofarm.co.uk.

Ride Before Work!

Lessons are now available Tuesday to Friday from 7:30am, for all you early birds!
